Amazed how people trade in a Jeep with no mention or care what the next owner will have to deal with.
Same could be said to about a dealer who sells it w/o a care.
Selfish.
WTF are you on about? They traded/sold a used Jeep, it's used. You have no idea what they disclosed or knew if anything was wrong. A dealer selling it is another issue.

Do you typically return a vehicle to "off the factory line" quality before selling it?

If not and you don't disclose every deviation from the factory, then according to your logic you're being selfish.

I have a new to me 2018 Wrangler Rubicon JLU. My first jeep. I experienced the death wobble 3 times in my first month of ownership. After reading many threads, and I thank yu'all, I installed the synergy steering box bracket cause I'm out of warranty with 135,000 miles. I also added a steering stabalizer. So far so good, no death wobble.

But, my steering seems to have to much dead space and it likes to wonder more than I'm confortable with. Whith no apparant worn parts, what would be my next thing to consider or is this just a Jeep thing and I should live with it?
Keep an eye on the steering stabilizer. It'll mask death wobble for a few days until the stabilizer is shot out again.

What tire pressure?
We run 30-32psi on our 35” BFG KO2 AT
OUr 37” Mickey BB MT are at 28psi

These are regular pressures, on road, highway, etc
30-32 on pavement for everyday use? does it effect gass millage? Sorry irrelavent question, forgot it's a Jeep.

More like 5+ years.

You put the steering stabilizer on at the same time?
Yes, Synergy steering box bracket, front adj. trackbar, rear adj. track bar, and front stabalizer shock. Really tweaked the alingment till it was perfect to the mechanics likened and it drives as good as it can for now with minimum to no wondering. No more constant correction and no death wobble for now.

With that many miles running 35s and wheel spacers I'd say the ball joints are probably worn out. The aluminum steering box is likely adding even more play. I'd start there.

How is it selfish? Why would I do a bunch of maintenance and expensive upgrades like swapping to the steel steering box on a vehicle I'm getting rid of? Am I supposed to top off the fuel and take the buyer out to dinner too? Maybe paint it their preferred color? If I was willing to do all the work to freshen up the steering and suspension I'd just keep it. If you're buying a 12-13 year old vehicle with 100k+ miles on it you should plan on a full maintenance and bolt check and budget for some parts in my opinion. If you don't want to deal with all that buy new or at least low mileage. The reason a higher mileage vehicle is worth so much less than a low mileage one is exactly this. It's implied that it's used and likely may need some work and it's reflected in the price.

Sometimes I wonder if @Wbino is simply a troll. He can't possibly be as (pick an appropriately-offensive derogatory adjective) as he sounds.

Trading in a vehicle with a known death wobble is selfish, especially if you don't mention it.
People who are selfish don't care about others, just themselves and usually reason with themselves that they are not ...kinda what you're doing now.

You're trading it in to the dealer, but you're worried about who they sell it to for significantly more than they paid you for it? That's insane. Use some of that mark up to fix it. Private party sell I'll mention every issue I've ever noticed. Trade in where I'm taking less than market value that dealer is on their own.

Couple things. A 2018 would have the aluminum steering box unless it was replaced under the TsB for the steel one.
you can also have the aluminum one tightened by somebody who knows what they’re doing.

Is it lifted? What size tires?
