I don't have my Wrangler yet, but I have the Rock Sliders from Ace Engineering on my JT currently, and I plan on getting them for my new JL immediately once it is delivered. I love that they work along with the Rubicon/Mojave/Willys rock rails, rather than replacing them, and double as a great sidestep for the vertically challenged (such as my wife ?).

I went w/ the Deegan 38's & love them! They don't hang too low and even have some small, bright KC lights under each corner.

RSEs/steps. I will NOT be using them as true rock-sliders though, just normal off-road/woods use here.

Yes, they have a step that deploys when the doors are opened...

Those look really great. Is it a mechanical function, somehow connected to the door hingeing?

That’s great but I’m trying to save money and the rock rails are close to $900. Somebody needs to talk me down off this ledge.

They have sensors in the door jam that activate a motor in the rear of the slider to activate the step/light on each side.
