Looking For Help with Fusing my Multi Amplifier Setup

My way is fairly simple, you'll need to make a bracket to hold the two fuse holders under the hood. I did a similar thing in other Jeep that I did the two amps, each had its own dedicated power wire and fuse coming from the battery. It also minimizes the lump from using one big wire under the carpet.

I've seen that a few times where the resistor on the card is damaged and you'll need a separate resistor, but it's no biggie!!

I actually already have the JL Audio Dual Fuse Holder bracket (and extra 4awg), so what you’re suggesting would be easy to do. Thanks!

Each amp has built in fuses for their protection. A main fuse at the battery, large enough wire for total load from there to the cap, cap to amp mounting location, and a small distribution block to attach each amp to the main power wire is how I've always done it/seen it done. Even in the event of a dead short on one of the small cables run to the small amp from the distribution block, it will pull enough load to blow the main fuse before it melts.

This is how Crutchfield recommended doing it. My amps aren’t fused internally, but I’m not concerned about frying those as they’re easy to replace if something were to go wrong. I am very concerned about the Jeep frying though. Sounds like the main fuse should suffice in a short. Thanks!

The wife isn't in to super loud aftermarket systems and it's her Jeep so I live vicariously through you guys upgrading the stock systems (not that the Alpine is bad but it could be better). If I'm going to take heat for modding her Jeep it's going to be on the suspension/skids/sliders/ wheels/tires/etc end...at least for now.
