Hey all, had a bit of a hiccup today with the JL Audio C3 install. Guess when Crutchfield says they dont fit, they mean it. Anyways, I go the power run (through the proper place behind glove box in firewall) today. That was a biotch. Any ways the car is torn apart and I am going to take the two sets of JL C3 back and I am thinking about the FOCAL ES165 K 6.5 inch components. Now, here is the question. I have heard from some audio shops to run tweeters only in the top of dash and coax in the bottom kick panels. Then components in the roll bar. I was thinking just the 6.5 mid in kick and tweeter on top. Or 6.5 coax FOCAL down in kick and some JL c3 3.5s in the top dash and leave those on the stock amp. Using the PAC for the system and JL AUDIO VX700/5i for the main speaker power. Also had someone say not to use the PAC toslink to the JL amp as it doesnt get as loud. Is that true?
