No matter how high you lift the Jeep, only thing that gives you more axle clearance is the tires. You can have a 12” lift and stock tires, and it will look like a roller skate with the same clearance as stock. Luckily, yours looks a hell of a lot better than a roller skate ?Rear axle diff I have 10.5in of clearance
Next is the crossmember which is 16.5in
Yea I wasn’t expecting this much of a lift. It’s @Craigger takeoffs XRNo matter how high you lift the Jeep, only thing that gives you more axle clearance is the tires. I went with Rusty’s engine skid plate. It’s a start since I’m covered in other sections.Looks great either way. I pursued those wheels too but can’t complain about the wheels I got because I paid 300 bucks for all 5 in the boxes. They were discontinued and some random company was selling them off so I got em for $60 each ??

what skid plates have you decided on?
Nice, Rusty’s stuff is good stuff, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. More trail time is the most valuable thing you can do. Mods help with confidence but nothing like seat of the pants time.I went with Rusty’s engine skid plate. It’s a start since I’m covered in other sections.
next step is a bumper and winch and more trail time

There’s an F150 cruising around your area with them too. I’ve seen it a few times between there and Chino, always see some lady driving it. I did a triple take the first time I saw it, I had never seen another person with these wheels before.those are the same wheels i have on my 98 silverado
