For a Pinyon run is anyone thinking of doing a run in January? I would love to get my first badge.
I'd be up for Pinyon in January. It's a really fun trail although expect a little fender and/or mirror rub going through the squeeze.

On another note, installing the Metalcloak Lock-n-Load is a total pain in the ass. Besides the cutting, it seems that things move around year by year in manufacturing so you have to sometimes come up with creative solutions. There's a lot of droop. So much, that I ripped my locker wiring out of my front diff . Oh well, looks like I have some wiring to do.

I got the front control arms, springs, and shocks mounted this weekend. The rest should go a bit quicker (famous last words).

Man those 6 packs look good. Maybe in a year or two I can upgrade my shocks to those.

Can't wait to see the finished product

I’m North County also, San Marcos, if you need a good alignment shop I recommend D&E in Esco. He helped me with torquing my control arms too.

I’m in for local trips too.
Perfect timing! I was looking for a good alignment shop that could handle the adjustable CAs and track bar.

Thanks!

Jeep is looking solid! Can wait to see it complete in person. That’s the kit I was looking at

I’m hoping to be lifted for pinyon. Working on the turtle shell for the underside also.

I’ll be going to Gorman/ Hungry Valley on 12/22 if anyone wants to meet up.
Plan still in place, David?

That place looks awesome, but I’m keeping one eye on the forecast—this week’s rain seems to be stretching later and later. Plenty of mud opportunity?, but not cool with sliding off a shelf road. ?

That forecast looks like it will be raining the next 3 days. Not sure if I want to risk it. I also don’t want to call it.

Let’s give it a couple days and see how it shakes out. It’s about a 2 hour drive for me and if you’re still going to be in LA, we can play the audible Thursday night. ?

I’ve been told it’s been raining up there the past few days.
