Yep. The paperwork got tossed when I tossed the box and packing material. So because of that, I’m just out of luck to get the right parts from LOD. :crying:

Yes it can seem a bit much for just a missing screw. 9 times out of 10 we find that the customer does have the missing parts, they were just hidden within plain sight, or we possibly shipped the wrong hardware kit, maybe not so in this case. LaneSprings, if you still need these screws please send an email to [email protected] with your order, address and contact information and I'll get these going. Please be clear as to what screws you need so I can get the correct ones to you.

In general we ask that all of our customers inspect their product upon receipt. This means taking pictures of the box if damaged before opening, pictures of damaged product before installing, and pictures of missing parts along with shipping documentation before installing your product. This is not meant to be "Proof" of missing parts or damage, but an aid to allow us to get you the correct parts. There have been instances were we have found that not only was the customer missing a screw, but they had received the wrong hardware kit or parts altogether. Thus saving additional shipping fee's and transit and getting the customer up and running as soon as possible.

From our website:

"Why do we require pictures?
Our goal is to provide the best possible customer support. In order to do that we request our customers to provide pictures of the product, shipping labels and packing lists, and box pictures. This allows our team to review your entire shipment for accuracy. One of our trained specialists will be able to examine your photos to make sure you received everything in your order. We do our best to provide high quality customer experience and error free shipping, but on occasion we do make a mistake. This process allows us to quickly respond to our customers’ needs whether it’s a damaged product, missing part or even a single screw."

Hey LOD,
Is there any chance of dropping the winch down in the stubby destroyer bumper? I see you have the signature with the drop down winch design. I love the little design differences with the destroyer and for me that would be the ultimate.
Thanks

From what I have heard and read these issues are very few and far between in the totality of orders. Nothing is perfect and the excitement of getting an LoD product tends to make people crazy. I know I do a lot of one off stuff so nuts and bolts and scratches, etc. are sometimes overlooked because I am not let's say "spot on" with my installs and upgrades. Currently I only think about receiving and installing my LoD Destroyer Rock Sliders 2 or 3 times a day. I appreciate the wait knowing my product is custom made to my order. On a marketing note since they are made on a per order basis how awesome would the initials or some other custom to me touch be.

Now I'm looking forward to seeing the customization Rock Rails this summer and hoping an add on for the current rails is offered.

Not likely, but if I get my way we may see an Armor Lite Series develop over the next year that may just be what your looking for!

You received the Bumper in 10 days - Did you tip them or something? Here in SoCal it is more like 4 or 5 weeks. Location Location Location

Looking pretty awesome though I admit. I'd save for the skid the skid is always cheaper than the repair of what it was meant to protect

Northridge 4x4 got a bunch in so I jumped on it and it shipped pretty quick.

As for the skid, I was going to look into that. What is the purpose? Does it protect the track bar, tie rod, drag link stuff or what? I was going to look into cutting the bars that hang down and give it the clearance instead but wasn’t sure yet.

I ordered the LoD Signature Series Mid-Width front bumper and skid plate (probably arriving some time in May), but I didn't see a license plate bracket to go with it. I only saw one for the Destroyer series and it doesn't appear that it will work. Hopefully, a fairlead bracket from a number of companies will work, but I don't know that for sure. Unfortunately, I live in a state where one is required. Any suggestions?

I left a link to my license bracket and a photo earlier in this thread. Check it out

Thanks, man! I don't know how I missed the link. At the moment, the product isn't available, so I'll save the link and check back. Btw, awesome build!!!
Thanks Scooby! Builds never seem to end. Alas I’m enjoying the ride.
I ordered my bracket via 4wheel parts. Seems like they were made to order. Took a week or two if my memory serves. Happy trails
