Hey ya’ll. I put some 33s on my 2 door 3.6 auto last weekend and will put a lift on a soon. I wanted to get more opinions on which lift to go with. I will have a local shop instal

1. rough country 2.5 suspension lift: I know I know, RC is known to be trash but truth is I am on pavement 90% of the time and only due blue trails 6 times a year. Many run this lift with no issues and I think they get a bad rep due to how cheap it is $ wise and how it compares to other lifts. particularly like this one because it is a true 2.5 lift

2.This teraflex lift and buy some aftermarket shocks, maybe rancho? I like that they are adjustable. I think this would yield me more than 2.5 inches which I don’t like since I want to stick to 33s

3. some other teraflex lift

I'm on 33's with the Mopar 2.5 lift. It is much closer to 3+' but I'm satisfied and would do it again.

Looks good! I thought it would look small but the sport fenders make the tires look a little larger.

As spring lifts are normally rated on a heavy Rubicon, if you don't want significant lift, I'd look at a Rubi swap, a Rubi swap with some short spacers, a spacer lift, or a 1.5" spring lift.

I’m looking at a 1.5” Teraflex spacer lift paired with existing rubicon springs to run 35” tires. I just gotta figure out shocks, maybe the Fox 2.0 or Ranchero. I got the Mopar LCA’s, as well.

FYI the TF 1.5 for the JL is 1" front and 1.5" rear. I'd consider Bilsteins over the Ranchos personally.

I am running this. Excellent OEM+ type ride. I can recommend it for anyone who wants a modest lift with predictable results and doesn't want to gamble with the unknowns of what their lift will be like in the end (e.g. will I get 2inches or 3 inches? will i like the ride or not?). Imagine your stock ride now but with more ground clearance and a little more sway from higher CoG.

Also, my response to @GATORB8 is get the extra 0.5inch spacer (TF's spacers do stack) or go with AEV. I would suggest you strongly consider AEV as well. In retrospect I would have bought their 2inch spacer over TF (TF is quality and all so I have no regrets from that perspective).

TF's reasoning is that the JL is nose high (they do the opposite on the JLU, it's 2" F 1.5" R). May no longer be an issue for OP with the steel front bumper, but if it's a concern, may want to decide if you want to add .5" in front or all around.

Here is a pic of mine with TF 1.5 2door lift with extra 0.5puck in the back. This is before I added a winch. Was mostly level and still is mostly level.
