No not that come on. Anyways is it me or have any of you been hit by birds, bees this year? Well I have. 3 birds have hit my windshield on 3 different occasions last one was a hawk and I saw the windshield bow in. And of course I have a crack from passenger to driverside how this windshield hasn't dropped in on my lap is beyond me. Now to the bees I've had 2 hit the mirror and land in my private area talk about butt pucker please don't sting me. Today 3rd bee hit my upper bicep but landed on my thigh. But still scared the crap out of me. Hope you all get a laugh like I have this spring/summer. What will winter bring deer?????

Our Hellayella Jeep is a magnet for bees and my wife was stung once while driving. The color is an attractant to not only bees, but wasps as well.

My wife and I once made the mistake of buying motorcycle helmets in that "high viz" yellow color - attracted flying insects from several counties away!

Definitely a change from the JK. Hit tons of grasshoppers bees and wasps with it, they always died from bouncing off the mirror or fender, and occasionally got guts splattered on the inside of the jeep. JLs are totally different. I sucked up a live cicada the other day in the Gladiator. Had to pull over on the turnpike and open both back doors to get him out.

Hit my first bird yesterday. It just stopped raining so left a nice wet splat on the windshield.

Just dont buy a motorcycle ? had bees/hornets in my sleeves a few time and found real quick that they can bite/sting numerous times until dead. And while riding, it’s not the right time to play drama queen? let go of the handle bars and those bites can get a lot worse.

In Texas, when you drive the countryside in summer and spring and fall, you get a lot of dragonflies who explode on your windshield. Obviously dragonflies are larger than most other insects out there, so you can only imagine the amount of mess they cause.

Hahaha. We use our jeeps for a lot of long distance driving and after any trip it takes hours to cleanup the masses of insects and bugs on any area that points forward.

I got one bird a couple weeks ago, I felt bad about it, but it bounced impressively high. Not much you can do if they hit you coming in fast from the side, would be impossible to avoid.

Road trip last weekend got a couple big butterflies that ended up coming into the front seat and getting guts all over everything while flopping around (no top or doors of course)

any bees I've hit I didn't notice.

I did have a deer hit my jeep about 20 years ago.

The most remarkable part about that incident is that I was STOPPED on the highway at the time. A couple other deer ran across the road so I slowed down and stopped, and another deer came and ran into the side my jeep as it was completely stopped. Literally 0mph.

Deer are incredibly dumb.
