LED turn/DRL availability?

First off, howdy.

First post here looking to pick up a 21 JLU Willys diesel in the next few months. Just gotta find one with the setup I want.

So to that extent, what is the requirements to get the factory led/drl fender lights?

I've seen three different fender lights, halogen turns only, dual halogen turn / drl and the led turn/drl.

It seems like they are on a wide variety of trim levels. What trim/option packages get the led turn/drl?

IIRC that’s Rubicon only and you have to get the LeD lighting package.

You can get the LED headlight / fog light with halogen fenders on the Willys though.

Correct kinda . Sahara has same a Rubi. The Willys flares will not allow the LED DRLs mentioned.

@c7j6y1. You could always swap out flares to the Rubi at later date. Many get the Willys with LED package and then swap bulbs for fender flares to LED.

Yeah but I won't have the $ for a few months and will be paying cash. (Pending inheritance)

I believe that they stopped taking orders for 2021 on August 4 th to clear out 2021 production or they get flipped to 2022 model year. The new orders for 2022 start sometime in October with December production. So you will have to wait for now Anyway. This what I have read.

Here is a Write up on how to add led switchbacks to a sport/willy's fender. If you get the led headlights w/halo (highly recommended regardless) it's a snap. Took about an hour to wire up my sport s.

I hate HATE switchbacks.

Not many other options short of swapping for a rubi fender- but you'll need a tazer to get them to work. Or you can spend $250+ for Replacement lenses . The Oracles I put in cost $70, are plug-n-play (internal CAN bus chip) and have worked flawlessly for over a year now...
And the turn signal is super bright.

Well one of the reasons I want that factory light is I'm an Emergency vehicle technician, and build up vehicles for first responders I can do wonders with the factory lighting (and no I don't use speedturtle or zflash) check put insta. C7j6y1
