Does anyone else get flashed at constantly in their JL (as if your high brans are on)? When driving at night, I’d estimate 30% of drivers I pass flash their lights at me.

is this due to improper aiming from the factory, or are the stock LEDs just bright!

Remember, even if adjusted properly, if you have heavy loads / loads in the back of the JL or when you are towing, etc., your headlight beams end up projecting higher..

Read here how to easily adjust your JL/JL headlights..
Re-aiming your JL's headlights is easy easy to do yourself. It takes but a few minutes to do and there are no special tools involved..

Hint.... with 2 small colored Sharpie marks/dots, mark on each adjuster. Mark your stock adjustment / factory adjustment. This way you have lets say a starting point to use if you ever need it..

Example, you go back to stock tires, you get the adjustments way out of wack, you adjust only when you are towing that frigging trailer.....
........with any of the aforementioned, you can then get back to the stock adjustment quickly thanks to your Sharpie marks.

It could be either really. I have not been flashed in the JL yet but get flashed in my truck fairly often. I have always adjusted my headlights with a little “toe in” on the driver’s side to avoid issues with oncoming traffic. I don’t know if height is an issue or if it’s just the perceived brightness of the high kelvin ratings. The only ones that seem to bother me are the retro led/hid bulbs in traditional housings.

I've got the factory LEDs and rarely carry any heavy loads, and I'm at stock height. I think I've been flashed at maybe twice in the last 2 months,

I was getting flashed a lot before and after the lift. Did the adjustment and no one has flashed since. They were definitely off :)

I've never been flashed with my *blazing* halogen stocks. ?

Upgrading later this week, but will check aim accordingly.

I do a lot of after dark, rural driving. I almost unconsciously dim my lights at a point where the other driver can see them go down. I think that stops a lot of the flashing even if they may feel the lights are too bright.

Of course, it doesn't stop them from saying "Oh, you bright lighted SOB" oh wait, that's me.

It happens to me less and less, as more vehicles on the road have LED headlights. It's almost always going to be someone in an older vehicle that flashes me.
