I recently installed all LED lights on my JL. I got an error the first time I drove, (Right rear tail light out). I pressed on the brake and turned the blinker on and the error went away. The more I drove it the error increased. Then it started throwing "tail lights out and Right Turn signal out". I went in and researched this (for about 3 minutes) and found that there is a work around for this "Known" (wtf, I didn't know about it) issue. and that is to put a small but mighty 6 Ohm 50 watt resistor in series with the light (easy) You tube it you need to. This prevents the Computer from seeing a lower power which typically indicates the light is out and puts enough load on the circuit to prevent the error, it also prevent "hyper flashing".

I guess my real bitch is: Why do you let people find out the hard way. It should say right on the package "may require additional equipment to function correctly". I think I am just pissed cause I am soldering wires in my garage and its 106 degrees, I think I have Heat Hatred. Oh and dont mount that resistor to anything of any value. 50watts gets hot fast, it will leave a blister...

You should get a Tazer device that allows you to change the light settings to LED. I did that to mine and it worked great. You could go to your dealer and have them change it but it may be costly.

I actually have a Tazer. I took it out after I replaced my 3rd set (2) of Batteries in one year. I was not aware that you "MUST" do a complete reboot after making a change, otherwise the control system stays on and drains your battery. Now I know what caused the issue I may put it back in..
