Saw a puddle under the jeep. I thought it was just water from a/c but it was still there next day. i looked under the jeep and saw this. Havent seen this before. Was just under there doing an oil change last week.

jeep is a 2018 V6 with 24k.

i have extended aftermarket warranty. Dont have much faith in it though

Is it engine oil or transmission fluid?

You may want to take a second look at your oil filter cap.

Shine a flashlight down the side of the oil filter housing, look under the intake for oil.

That’s the exact pattern of an oil leak from that area. Runs out the back of the intake over the top of the transmission, onto the trans pan and rear main area.
