Leak! One Touch Power Roof

Here's the before and after pics. The only real solution here would be to ask FCA to reseal the entire Sky One Touch power top.

The rubber seals are has widening gaps at all four corners - see attached pics. Fortunately no additional leaks yet.
Anybody here approached the dealer to get the seals fixed under warranty? Wondering how the dealership responded.

Mine went into the dealer today. Leaks all four corners. The seal has raised in all 4 areas which I assume is causing the leaks. They will have it for a couple of days and I will update when I hear back from them.

Update: Jeep has been at the dealer all week. They pulled the seals and replaced. Apparently there is a bulletin from Jeep to the dealers instructing them how to do this. They put it through the car wash for the water test. Still leaking.

Now they have ordered replacement rails as the rails that were on there didnt have drain holes so nowhere for the water to go. 2-3 for the rails to come in and from what I've been told these do have access for drainage. My guess is there has been a modification in design as this is the first year and they have been having issues.

I will update again when I get it back.

@Rosedale61 thanks for the update. I have an appointment next week with my local dealer to inspect the seals on my Jeep.

Now ... did you get loaner from the dealer while your car is being serviced ?

Yes picking up loaner this morning.

Picked up loaner this morning and was speaking to the service advisor apparently the engineers at Jeep are still trying to 'figure out" why the tops are leaking. Yikes.

Dropped it off this morning & they had the problem fixed by end if day. Picking up tomorrow. Apparently, the area leaking (front driver area) was missing some of the weatherstripping in that area. They made the fix, leak tested again, & it’s fixed. Hopefully this will be the only issue with it, as I really do like the idea of a convertible top. We’d be too lazy to take the tops on & off & also risk scratching parts up each time.

Here’s a pic of my service report. Apparently there’s a TSB out on missing or inadequate application of the Butyl for the Sky One Touch roof. They fixed the issue & checked the entire roof & not just the area leaking. Hopefully this is the only issue I come across with this roof.

Yeah, they fixed this on mine as well and it didnt solve the problem. Mine is leaking in all four corners and the worse leaking is in the rear. As of today they are still waiting on parts. Hope this gets resolved next week. I will update when I have more news.
