For something nice, I'd probably look into getting a custom JL mount by Gibson Leatherworks for $175 (at bottom of page)..

I tried the sticky magnet but it wouldn’t stick with the plastic.
Its like there is a film on the plastic.

LOL I never thought of it in terms of credit — but I need all that I can get.

I just keep mine IWB. IMHO, there is no good place to keep in in the Jeep. Maybe an attachment in the kick panel under the steering wheel. But along the console would just rub the leg. Then again, im a big guy so I need the room ROFL.

Please, please don’t leave a weapon in your Jeep “under a towel. You are asking for problems if some a-hole breaks in and steals it. If you Must leave it, get a steel pistol vault for the console. Not Ft Knox but will stop the grab and go characters.

there’s a void by a support brace under the dash, steering wheel area, zip tie the magnet to it and if you can make out the image, there is a revolver up in the void. You can see the zip tied magnet just right of the revolver cylinder. It is stable and secure, it’s not coming up without a brisk grab. Most scumbag burglars won’t be checking under there.

I wouldn’t count on it.

Most of the thieves we catch are as dumb as a stick, but they are good at finding hiding places — because most of their lives are spent trying to find hiding places for their dope (or trying to find somebody else’s dope). It’s all they are good at.

The only proper answer here is on your person - never left unattended in the vehicle. AIWB works perfectly with cover garment lifted and seat belt behind the gun. Quick access but easy to be discrete if needed with a quick flip of the cover garment.
