I am heading south of the Border for a few months. I am driving my Jeep down. I am interested in putting in a kill switch to deter any theft--US or Mexico. Suggestions on a quick and easy one? Thank you.

Do you have a locking mechanism for your hood? If so it might be easier to just remove one or two key fuses, if I'm interpreting your question correctly.

If it were me, I would:
1. Locking Hood Latch
2. Pull some Fuses
3. A very well hidden kill switch.

Unfortunately, none of those will stop a wrecker from stealing it.
If only for a few months, find a friend who doesn't mind you parking in the back of his driveway, garage, or find storage area to rent.

Years ago I had to park my xj in a high crime area and I would remove the fuel pump relay. Free and effective.
