I like the Rexing V1...currently under $100...I have 2. They utilize super capacitors, which are better in the temperature fluctuations. No GPS or speed tracking...but are available as an add on. I just wanted recordings for the peace of mind/liability. Watch some youtube videos of dash cams..most have the model listed in the frame...then you know the resolution/clarity you will get. Glad you are OK and the kids weren't onboard yet.I’m going to be researching this and actually doing something. I’ve thought about it for years off and on.
Texting.Flat surface, clear day this guy was just not paying attention at all. ?
I’ll keep an eye out for anything that feels off.You might feel wrecked in the next day or two. Be sure to take note of your body - soft tissue damage is difficult to show unless you have a record of symptoms etc.
That’s what I’m hoping for. I’m hoping that I can get something for the diminished value as well.Looks to be a fairly easy fix. You got nothing to worry about other than the accident showing up on carfax.
2k for the plastic bumper? Geez! Yeah I think the tire was in the hood/grill and my tow hitch was hit by his bumper.Me, if nothing looks too far off. Get some high estimates and pocket the money If you do not have any frame damage. From what I can see from the other truck its all hood and grill.
If you own your jeep out right, this could get you upgraded bumpers or just cash in your pocket.
My son lives in Vegas and just a few months ago get rear ended the plastic cheap bumper was almost 2 grand to replace. Craigslist has these all the time for almost free.
I have a couple of the Redtiger F7N cams. I am impressed with the 4K picture, GPS tagging, speed tagging, parking mode. Nice cameras and i think I only paid about $119 each for them. People are really crappy drivers anymore and more and more distracted with cell phones, giant intuitive screen in cars, etc. It completely eliminates the he said / she said.I like the Rexing V1...currently under $100...I have 2. That's not exactly how it works, but it makes for a good internet story. Also, if the insurance company wants to send you a payment because your wrist aches a little ($200 or so), do not cash the check right away. If they send you a check and you cash it, they may be able to argue that you accepted a payment for your injuries, and that limits their liability for any other injuries you might later try to claim.
Thanksgiving last, had my JL 2019 rubiconJust got rear ended coming home from work. Traffics was backed up and at a stand still I was last in line. Then an old GMC slams into me. The Jeep looks better than I think it is. I’m worried about frame damage. They hit my spare tire and I can see that it’s shifted as well as the rear bumper but it really has me worried that they won’t truly get me back to 100%. It’s a JLU Sport so I have plastic bumpers.
That sucks big time. I guess if you have to replace it a 392 is the way to go.Thanksgiving last, had my JL 2019 rubicon
smacked in the rear by a guy coming off 80. We were at 32mph. Both son and I whiplash and my blue jeep was totaled.
Frame did an accordion.
Got good value from USAA. Niw waiting for my 2022 392.
Would send pics but don't know how.
