Ive never had an issue with excessive wear on a full time front drive. The only true way to totally stop front parts movement is unlocking hubs but even those require to be engaged once a month for so many miles to lube the front diff components.
But, at the end of the day, no matter what, the front doesn’t wear any faster then the rear as long as fluids are clean and changed as required.
Even when unlocking the hubs, the wheel bearing are still wearing.

Properly lubed parts will last for hundreds of thousands of miles.

The FAD system in the JL is specifically to give you a very slight, less than 1 MPG, gain in fuel economy due to less parasitic drag.

23 JLU Willys XR 2.0T. XR package included a factory 1.5" lift. I added an 0.5" spacer front and rear for a total of 2" of lift.

About 5,000 miles ago I added TrueTracs front and rear. Per their recommendations, I deleted the FAD up front with a MOPAR kit, and got a Tazer to make the Jeep think it was never there.

So far so good. And no noticeable vibrations.

Ok probably a dumb question but why the tendency for vibration at freeway speed on a JL but not a lifted F250 for example?
An F250 has disconnects at the wheel end, but also driveshaft length, joint design, and overall angle is different.

In my personal user case, having FAD outweighs removing it. My caster is at 6.5ish. The beauty of FAD is that I can go more if I want to without having to deal with drive line vibration. I rarely use 4hi on the road. Even if I do, it would be less than 40 mph.

Like many already stated, the system doesnt really have any issue other than the cast housing. There are many chasing the vibration due to the FAD delete. I am aware that FAD removal is not the cause but deleting FAD forces you to deal with it.

To me, there is no benefit to remove the FAD, but your user case may be different.
