We have a 2022 JLU 6cylinder and we are having problems with our Infotainment system. Dealer replaced head unit 2 months ago. We lose Sirius often, FM not at all. We lose reception no mattter which direction we are going. Dealer stated that it “might”. Be the stubby antenna being loose (tightened). Same problem. Updates are current. Problem still there. Installed EZ flip top recently but had the problem before and since installation. Does anyone have this problem or a solution.

It is typical for Sirius to lose signal in rural, mountainous areas. Other than that I haven't had any problems with my infotainment system. I chuckled momentarily at that term. It's amazing how much things have changed since 1970.

I would consider going back to the taller, factory antenna to verify if it helps your reception. This could help depending on where someone lives. If that doesn't work, I would want to verify the antenna connection to the infotainment system. 😆 Sorry, I don't know why I'm finding that so humorous.

Best of luck my friend. I hope you get it figured out.

The exterior antenna (AM and FM) has nothing to with SiriusXM. The receiver (satellite receiver) is mounted up above the drivers head in the cross member. Have you installed anything on the roof?

SiriusXM works great in open areas but in a downtown environment with buildings to block the line of sight signal between Jeep and sky, you'll have drop outs. Take a look at the Skyview app for your phone or tablet. There is a ton of space junk orbiting the planet.

Try using any of the streaming services for your phone. I use Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Amazon Music, etc. without issue.

quite the opposite - the fender mounted antenna is strictly for AM/FM signals. Sat radio is mounted on the crossbar. I have excellent coverage when deep in the mountains where terrestrial radio cannot reach.

Yes sir, I forgot about that, you're 100% correct. Thank you for the correction. 👍

That's strange. I will lose Sirius in the mountains but maintain FM radio no problem. Idk?🤷‍♂️

I have install EZ Flip top for my JLU. Our problem happens before install and after install. Pretty much the same, no increase or decrease.
