Hi All. I am trying to figure out the best solution for taking off my hard top and storage in the garage. Please share how you store yours. Pics if you have them!! Thanks!

I went with a cheap DIY approach, just did ratchet straps and hooks anchored in the ceiling. Worked for years. So just know, you don't have to go with an expensive solution. Special frames and lifts...

I did THIS. And for the doors I put 1/4" eyebolts in the pole barn support posts.

IMO, the easiest out-of-the-box solutions are the RollnJack or the Top Lift Pro. Both are easy to relocate anywhere you've got space in the garage.

And when you need to re-arrange, like when your garage partner decides to buy a markedly different vehicle than what she used to have (Argh...I love you Boo). It's quick and easy to reconfigure the space.

TopLiftPro + ARC wall hangers is the best solution IMHO…

If you are doing this by yourself, I second the Top Pro lift. Little pricey but worth it. Remove and store.

I did the same thing in my barn. Cost me less than $30. Easy for one person to remove and put roof back on by themselves.

I used a boat winch to raise and lower my hard top. I built a frame out of unistrut and secured it to the top. Then the cable routed through pulleys to the winch attached to the wall. Works great.
