Car wash with hard top?

Any consensus on whether the jlu had top can handle a no touch automatic car wash without leaking. Never had an issue on my YJ or TJ but neither had this freedom tops

Never had a leak problem in a car wash with JK or JL freedom top.

Jk for 7 years with hard top and not one drop. There is always a chance of water infiltration with seams in the top (freedom tops, sky touch, T-tops, convertibles). If it leaks you'll probably get water in hand washing it. If you get a leaker take it to the dealer.

No issues with any car washes in my hardtop (touch-less and regular). I only do touch-less with my soft top.

No leaks in mine, have done touch less with both freedom panels and with sunrider for hardtop.

Should be ok...Not a drive-thru but still plenty of pressure deliberately applied to seams and joints.

unless something is a little off with your top or seals, you should be fine in any type of wash. Mine has zero issues with a touchless wash tho

No issue with my hardtop in a tunnel wash. However, they have an attendant that does a prewash and I did get soaked when they hit my drivers door the first time. The weatherstripping on the top of the door leaves a little to be desired.

I have had my JL thru one car wash and it never leaked a single drop, I just prefer to wash my ride at home and do the pride of ownership thing and car washes tend to do bad things to vehicles

I had two 2 jks that leaked and two that didn't.

Only one way to find out!

No Leaks! Horrible run off from gutters when doors open after! Park with rear end down a bit or drive it first!

My JLUR runs through a touch less car wash once a week. It’s extremely dusty out in the desert. With the SunRider for hardtop installed, my Jeep comes out dry every time.

No leaks here. I have not had to use my scuba gear at any carwash.

I do no problems. I do have water squirt up from the floor board though I assume from around the drain plug.
