I suspect there may be a few Floridians left in Port Charlotte, and even a few more in Tallahassee. Naples? Like most of Florida these days, it’s basically Newark-New Jersey moved south. I wouldn’t expect any multi-finger waves there.

My wife and I retired here about 3 years ago...I cannot wait to get the HELL OUT! Hoping my house will be worth more after the next election, Soon as I can get my money back I am back HOME in Texas!

I do notice, more ducks = more waves which is kinda cool.

Not around here. A row of “dash ducks” is usually paired with a “lazy wave” mirror sticker and a “zero waves given” attitude. Must be some kind of rule against having the lazy wave sticker AND actually waving. I prefer to always wave, as it‘s pretty easy to do and really doesn’t require much effort.

This has turned out to be way more amusing than I thought it would be. As usual, I am over thinking shit. Wave or don't wave it really doesn't matter at the end of the day. I'll continue to wave, I usually do the two finger at the top of the steering wheel or the three finger out the side when the doors are off.

Wave or don't wave it really doesn't matter at the end of the day.

Don't plan on trying this irl, but for the same few Jeeps I come across that never wave back, I'm always tempted to put up a hand as I slowly veer closer and closer and closer until we're almost playing chicken, just to see if they catch my ire.

I was taught that proper etiquette requires Why thaat’ss nice when you want to say Fuuuck Youu ! …. I no longer wave at female Jeepers unless waved at, having received a nose in the air , Why Thaat’s Nice, Jerk, Got Yer Nerve Hitting on me. Attitude response all too often. ?

I go to South Florida frequently, and it is no longer Florida along the coast. Get rural and it turns back, quick.
The panhandle is the exception. Tallahassee and west is Florida all day. I’m in Santa Rosa County… culturally Alabama without the income tax. Lot’s of military, high level of weapon carry. Safe and excellent food (seafood, Southern food, Cajun food, BBQ, Soul Food, Greek food).

I've evolved into a non-waver. I've been a Wrangler owner for over 20 years. It's not the "club" it used to be - too many Wranglers out there. I wouldn't sweat it.

To your original question… IMO, no Libertys, Renegades, Compasses (Compassi?), GCs, GWs, etc. warrant (I’m kinda in @AFD ‘s camp on XJs—the survivors today are usually MM Fury Road type desert marauders ? ).

Ladies and Gentlemen its a new world out there people just don't care about things anymore. If it's not on the cell phone it's not real. Alot of people walk around nowadays with blinders on.

I've stopped the Jeep wave for the most part. There are just so many in CO I'd have to sit with my hand up constantly. Now, I just smile, wave, and say, "Jeep wave" when we're driving in our Chevy. My wife has stopped saying anything about it, now she just ignores. Before it was, "we're not in a Jeep" and eye rolling.
