I wonder why Jeep never sent me a Sport hat?

Likely thought it would cut too deep into their profit margin. Unlike the tens of thousands (or more) from a single 392.

That is crazy. They sent me a black hat that said Jeep. I would've liked the Rubicon 392. FWIW, I got my 2021 392 XR within 3 weeks of the arrival of that hat........

I don't know guys. So try and order a Corvette, or a bronco, or almost any ford and a lot of other cars and trucks for that matter. I get it 8 months sucks, no good communication about the order being cancelled sucks. But right now in the world we live in if you research it you will see that jeep seems to one of the few that has been able to keep up pretty dam good with their demand.

Sometimes Americans just seem spoiled rotten to the core. So the letter isn't written with gold flake, so no one signed it, good lord cry, cry, cry.

I think it's pretty cool they took the time to at least send a letter and the hat. They don't have to do Nothing. If you hate jeep so much go buy something else, see how that goes.

Not cancelling the order probably means that the dealer gets a 392 to sell to someone else in addition to whatever their allotment is.

This is likely the case. Jeep prioritizes sold orders over dealer buys so it makes sense to keep the order for themselves . The window sticker will read “this vehicle was built especially for Dave Whatshisname” across the top.

Just relax man, you’re taking this too seriously. I think the whole thing is funny and I’m the OP. In the end there is an absurdity here in Jeep thinking a cheap hat will make me stick around longer if I haven’t already. The people on this forum are all Jeep people, most of us have owned multiple models. We are just sharing a laugh over a hat. Don’t take it so personally.

You could be right. It just seems like a lot of times there is a lot of negativity on here towards Jeep, and it's like, well if you feel that way why did you buy a Jeep? LOL. I also can't help but feel that the 392 is the pinnacle of the Wrangler anyone can buy right now. I just don't really see any other vehicle that compares to it. I know for me I would give some select body parts to have one.

I felt your pain and it's good to see you are taking it in stride, and making the best of it. I know it had to kinda suck you had to go out and buy one and not get the one you ordered.

But hey, you got one. I would drive that thing and wear that hat with pride and feel really good that I was one of a few that has one.

Ahhhhh, i would actually buy the original 392 and sell it back to the dealership. Recover some of the "premium".

I’ll keep this one short but I wanted to share. I ordered a 392 about 8 months ago. After waiting 4 months Jeep said it would now be a 2022 model and I’d get it in January. I didn’t trust them so I just bought one off a lot and paid the premium. Well today I get this from jeep!

I got the hat and same letter mine supposedly has been sitting in Toledo waiting to be shipped by rail since January 13th

Sorry late to the party here but I had to chime in.

You ordered from the wrong website, the Jeep HAT website, right next to the Jeep Key fob Website.
Or you could say " I ordered a new Jeep 392 and all I got was this pink HAT!"

Sorry about your luck. Maybe one day you may get another surprise at your front door.
