Have had my jeep for about 2 months and loving it. Been rolling with no back windows and the soft top on or back/off mostly.

I know it doesn’t matter since it’s “my jeep” but just curious what look you guys think is the best.

Will experiment with doors off too soon.

Safari mode is more forgiving when the weather is spotty. However, I prefer the open air clean lines with the soft top completely removed, so I roll in that mode whenever the weather and my schedule permits. I like the functionality of the soft top, but I think all the extra hardware and scrunched up top looks a little goofy when it’s down.

I do hate the look of the soft top down as you described but i bought my jeep used and it came with the dual top group. So folded back it is. Though i do wait for a stretch of nice weather to take the hard top off and roll with nothing. Just put the soft top on about an hr ago as it's supposed to rain tmrw, bummer.

OP i do highly recommend a sunshade for at least the front, drastically cuts down on the wind smacking you in the face coming over the windshield and also helps keep you out of direct sunlight on those blazing hot days with no clouds. There are plenty out there and have personally been using the dirtydog4x4 ones for the front and back.

Do take the doors off, you'll be itching to get em off any moment you can!

If you're going topless, it should be with either half doors, or no doors. Full doors left on a topless Jeep looks silly..... you asked.
I would love half doors but can’t fit that into my budget at the moment. Agree it looks way better without doors I just don’t have a garage and park in the city so no doors all summer is a little harder as far as storage and everything

I'm going back to this in a few days. I'm thinking of leaving the clear lid on for over the front seats.
Then I'll go to the soft top.

Love the look of it all off. I would run it this way if I had a garage I could park in overnight. I know they sell “waterproof” covers too but I have a parking pass on my windshield I can’t cover so unfortunately that’s not an option for me,

wanna run doorless all summer too but same issue with not being able to cover the jeep if it pours , removed carpet so I guess all id worry about would be the dash and maybe my seats

Here is mine currently. This is the slant back soft top. Jeep came with a hard top and we run completely naked from May through mid September each year. I installed the soft top because we are going to Moab this summer and I wanted to be able to run the top off but not drive across 2 states with no roof (live in Missouri). I have since learned from others here that I will regret running the top off in Moab but I still have the option now. Something nobody told me before I went to the soft top was that when it's down all the way, you cannot see out the rear view at all. It's not the look I love, which is nothing on at all, but I at least can throw up the safari to help keep rain out when it sets at work.

I had previously purchased the 2 piece Spider Web shades but after installing the Bestop, I realized that does not fit (rear no, front yes) even though they say it will. So now I run the front shade with this set up. I am leaning very hard on spending the cheddar for the EXR roof rack system that fits under the soft top, so we can still haul kayaks with the soft top.

Regardless of what you choose, somebody will hate it and others will envy you. Do you and enjoy friend.
