Mine too is solid at 6,000 miles excepts for something with the exhaust that rattles slightly at idle at some temperatures. I’ve not tried to figure it out yet. We did some trails in Colorado this summer - it’s not just a mall crawler. It’s sen some rough roads. The lack of rattles has been a pleasant surprise.
Hello Sir,
Have a look at the heat shield on the catalytic converter...the spot welds pop off and shield will make the make the rattlin'/tinkling noise.
A metal hose clamp around the whole unit / assembly will cure it.
Cheers!

So for now we’re going around in a Gmc Canyon and wait a few years to see how the Broncos hold up or a Raptor or maybe a Toyota.
Bye Felicia.

There is no such thing as “the dreaded Auto Start/Stop malfunction issue”. The system does not physically exist independently of the standard equipment found on any vehicle.
A number of people have had the issue I listed above on the JLs - thats what I was referring to. After 10 days its still at the dealer.

To date, I've replaced two radiators in two Hondas; both repairs were linked to straightforward, age-related fatigue failures in portions of their plastic construction.

May I ask about your JK's radiator replacement? Just curious to know if I've something similar to look forward to. For a third time.
Honestly cant tell you the rhyme or reason - one of my headlights was out and when I opened the hood you could see the radiator blew fluid all over the front end of the engine compartment. Pretty sure the headlight was related to whatever happened to the radiator blowing. Jeep was almost 10 years old at that point though.

Makes me almost glad I bought a 1 year old used rental with 27k miles of strangers. Only issue i had was steering but tsb fixed that perfectly and my radio works perfect now that I switched out my 5” for a 10” android

That’s like saying “the check engine light problem.”

Jeep is buying back my 2020 jlur this week, I am getting a new one and hoping for better quality... I had transmission, water pump, steering, electrical failures all in the first year, totaled around 40 days of down time..

it seems that the more loaded the jeep is, the more likely it is to have issues. just from my observations of these threads.

That sucks, I've been through that with another vehicle (a VW). You never get back all the time spent going back and forth to the dealer, or fully get back the trust in a vehicle you want to own and like. Good luck with your new one, anything different that you're going to do this time around as far as options?

That’s a rather unscientific observation. I think you’ll find a rather significant sampling bias in your assessment.

got the 6cyl instead of the 4, the pen star is solid and hoping the systems around it are solid, wondering ifatleast some of my issues were the 4cylbeing new and they systems around it..

also got the rubicon with all wheel drive, saw they have had it for yearsin other markets with no issues.. and I sprung for the proximity key, and the upgraded rock rails...

This is our 5th Jeep and the only one with issues, and the brand took bad the bad vehicle, so I will give it another shot.. if it has issues again I will just buy a cj7 and fix it up, and get a commuter car..

My ‘19 was bought back and I’ve had a wonderful time with my replacement that has been solid. I hope you have a great replacement.
