Jeep Freedom Panels

I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 Door, and need Freedom T Top Panels. I found someone selling some but the Seller owned a 2016 Sahara Jeep Wrangler 4 Door. He advised they should fit my Jeep. Can anyone tell me if they would fit my Jeep before I but them? Thanks

Both the '09 and '16 models are "JK" body style, so they *should* fit fine. However, even with the same body style/generation, they do make small tweaks year-to-year. It would be best if you can find some from a year closer to yours, or test them before you hand over cash.

This is a JL-specific ('18-present) forum - you might be able to get better responses in a JK-specific forum.

Just got my first jeep and I got them back on, but I don’t remember if the front clip above the visor is supposed to rest on the metal latch or go through it.
