Thanks, she’s a big teddy bear. Contrary to their reputation in movies, Dobermans are very affectionate non aggressive dogs. They are often called “Velcro” dogs because they don’t know the meaning of personal space lol.
I used to date a girl that had a 100lb Dobe, I totally believe you, you know how many movies I watched with that giant dog sitting on my lap, too many. Beautiful dog you got there.

Ha ha. Yeah my aunt and uncle used to breed them and they absolutely wanted to be all up in your space. I was a kid at the time and the dogs probably out weighed me but even still they'd let me do whatever I wanted. Definitely not an aggressive breed.

One of our four dogs is a Pitbull (AmStaff technically), which also has a bad reputation. He is the most affectionate dog I've ever owned. Fearless and strong which is why I'm sure the breed has been used for fighting. It's a shame that has defined them even though it's a training issue not a breed issue. Just like the Doberman being portrayed as a the viscous guard dog that will attack anything it sees. Completely untrue. My experience is that they're oversized lap dogs.

Somehow that trait must of missed the two Dobermans that chased me on my bike when I was 7 for several blocks! Haha. I’ve had a grudge against them ever since. Lol.

long ago i dated a red-headed divorcee that was into handguns, bicycles and dobermans. (yes, many stories there,...) she had a red like yours, as well as a black and fawn.
both were complete mush-puppies.

had i not fallen into owning Dutch Shepards, a Doberman would have been high on my list.

Great pictures I have to ask does your dog sleep in the jeep or how in the heck do you get him in the tent with you?
He sleeps in the Jeep. No way he can get up in that tent!

... We have an AmStaff too but she just had surgery so no jeep pics yet.
Aw, poor pup. I hope she's feeling better and enjoying Jeep rides soon.
