I let my XM free trial expired. I still receive emails about my Jeep health. I do not care for it, and I do not want Jeep to collect data about me nor my driving.

Jeep privacy and data collection is listed here: https://connect.jeep.com/us/en/privacy

It states that I can opt out on Jeep Connect website. I logged in, and I couldn't find how to do it.

I am considering calling the number provided, and ask them to opt out of everything included geodata collection, vehicle health, sharing and selling my data, etc.

My question:

Has anyone done that? If so, is there any drawback? All I need is my GPS to continue working and receive update when needed.

Thanks,

Yes, I would cancel everything and if they don't cancel the service and continue to collect your personal information, data, and continue to send emails I would threaten to file a lawsuit against them for invasion of privacy, improper billing and unfair cancellation policy, failure to provide accurate information, violation (breach) of the terms of the licensing contract or service purchase agreement, negligence, and leaking personal data and sensitive information.

This will straighten them out!
