Jeep Climate Control Panel does its own thing

Hey yall, sometimes my jeep climate control does its own thing. It won't work or is stuck when you crank it up. It stays that way for a few min. I made a video to describe or show what it does.

Controls or the climate control module need to be replaced.

Every once in a while my controls in that area (climate, traction control, etc) become slightly unresponsive, with a slight delay like the processor is still busy trying to figure out something else it's doing. If I just wait and give it a second or two before pressing something else, it seems to catch up and recognize the last button press. Usually everything is pretty responsive, but not really sure why it flakes out sometimes.

Think there's a way to do a basic reboot of the uConnect system, which might be worth a try. Haven't tried it myself yet, but with the ignition in the 'run' position (vehicle off, foot off brake, press ignition once iirc) then press and hold both the volume and scan buttons at the same time for 20 seconds. Not sure if you lose any presets or settings by doing this though.

Dealer visit. This stuff is all CAN bus and if it is delayed, something is wrong with either the stack or the BCM (programming). That said, if you put a Tazer on it and set the option for dual climate, you'll instantly have an issue and it's either full hot or full cold as there's no temp sensor for it to meter off. Assuming you haven't set that or have a Tazer, there's an issue in that stack or BCM that might be as simple as a reflash.

Ok, the problem is, when I first crank up in the morning, climate control panel doesn’t work at all. Takes about 3 minutes of driving for it to come on. That video shows a weird thing where it was stuck on the last setting when I shut it off and started it back up
