Huh... so I wonder if this is an issue with adding XR to the 392 right now, or simply an XR issue altogether. I am seeing lots of people get their builds with XR package lately. I hope they haven't run out of parts for it... I have an XR on order.
I have a JLUR XR on order and just got a ship date of May 9.

When my JLUR-XR came in late last month, the dealer told me that there was a hold on the XR package due to supply chain issues.
I'm fairly confident that supply chain issues are impacting more than just XRs. Many of us ordered last year.

Interesting that Jeep will be building the 2023s in 3rd quarter, as opposed to mid December as was with the 2022MY. This could mean 2022MY order books will close around July and 23MY order books will open around there too.

I hope the XR gets the 4.88 with auto on 37s.
My 2021 JLUR was built August 2020. So third quarter was the norm. 2022 production starting in December was a fluke because of many issues. I am happy that Jeep is going to return to their normal production schedule.

Ordered in FEB too. Maybe I'll get that call too. Be nice if they brought the snazzberry and some of that Rubicon 20'th anniversary package into the XR recon.

I’m happy too, David Jan

So I just got a call from Jeep as well. I ordered a 3.6L Jeep Wrangler Sahara Altitude on 11/13. My build shield just showed up on crytostickers on 5/5. Anyway, Jeep called and told me that to "ensure my Jeep was built for MY 22, that they would be installing a 3.6L BSG engine instead of the 3.6L ESS engine. And that I would get $1,250 taken off the invoice."

So does this just mean I'm not getting the eTorque system? Anyone have any idea?

I would assume you wouldn't get the eTorque system as on their website it does show up as an additional $1,250.

I'm confused. Isn't the 3.6L BSG the eTorque engine?
