I'm not terribly superstitious or religious, but I'm beginning to think someone is trying to tell me something. Like.... This isn't the vehicle for me or now is not the time. 😭
Yes, but as others have mentioned - jeep.com is notorious for being severely behind the 8-ball. It's not updated regularly especially when it comes to option configurations and availability. At least, that's the general consensus here on the forum.
👆 THIS.
I'm not yet a Jeep owner. I've been anticipating this build for do long. I've had my heart set on a relatively bare bones JLUR (already a rarity as most are heavy with options I don't want nor need) with the 3.6L Pentastar with the 6-speed manual transmission and the 4.88 gears. Now...
I've seen some of the threads in a few of the Facebook groups going bezerk over the super duper limited High Tide edition and I'm not sure why. 😐 I'm guessing the entry level Jeep crowd is now ecstatic they can order with the XR? 🤷🏻
OH, they have said that and they all do! But as someone who doesn't yet own a Jeep, it's difficult to see dudes whining about their lockers being auto-engaged or consistent coolant leaks or "this is the worst vehicle I've ever owned".
In retrospect, these are miniscule percentages in the grand...
A cool novelty, but anyone who has been around a while knows that anything you put in an Igloo cooler in the morning is luke warm by the afternoon. They've never made a good cooler.
This needs to be reiterated more often. I don't yet own a Jeep. I've not placed my build order yet, but I'm in Arizona and every 10th vehicle on the road out here is a Wrangler of some kind. Despite not owning one yet, a good friend of mine has a Sahara, my neighbor has a Willys, three...
What's the solution for those looking to order? Check back with the dealership you intend to order from on a weekly or (daily?) basis to see if your desired paint scheme and option combination are available to order? Obviously, we've all known for quite some time the official Jeep website is...
Doesn't sound so far off to me. 🤷🏻 I realize the general train of thought is tHe w0rLd iZ kRaZy right now, but all of a sudden no one knows what build configuration is possible from one day to the next. Lololololol.
What in the heck is going on? Not much sense in even having any sort of build in mind. Just show up at the dealership, sit down at a computer with the sales rep. and "OK. What does Jeep feel like building these days?" 😭
Agreed. Judging from all the reading and other experiences here in the group, it seems like the combo of options and the way they all intertwine are so sensitive.
Definitely doesn't make sense the tranny would only be available on a couple of select models. 🤔
Nooooooo!! 🙁 I'm not ready to order yet. I'm gutted.
** EDIT: Maybe I'm still safe as I'm intending to order a Rubi with the 4.88's. 🤔 Lord please

I definitely don't disagree. My reply wasn't directed towards your reply or experience - moreso, a reply to the entire thread, in general.
The lack of quality control boggles my mind. It does surprise me so many laugh off all the issues, shrug their shoulders and then say "iT's A jEEp thing!"...
You could type into any web browser search, "Does the [insert make / model here] have any issues?" and I guarantee you're going to come across a 3rd party report or a forum discussion of a bunch of dudes screaming to the rooftops all the reasons why you shouldn't buy that particular vehicle.
