Jeep App No Remote Start?

They’re really trying to get all the money they can! Called support, the trial now only includes remote lock, unlock and ventilation. If you want to remotely start the vehicle you have to immediately upgrade the trial to the Jeep One or whatever it’s called for $17 a month.
Seems silly to me they don’t include the remote start in the free trial. I imagine anyone new to Jeep wouldn’t even know it’s an option.

The remote start is included for the 3 month free trial if you sign up using your credit card, you just have to remember to cancel it before the trial is up so you are not charged.

is there just a wire that can be disconnected on the back of the head unit or ?

My 2024 has the Uconnect 5 computer screen and the telematics box is next to the steering column. I bought a jumper cable for the brown and blue antenna lines to keep the satellite radio functional.

IIRC, there is a sub board inside your unit that can be removed. It was written up on the forum here somewhere. Maybe someone here has some info on it?
