Jeep App: Vehicle location, remote functions not working

Hey Jeepers,

I switched from the Uconnect app to the Jeep app a couple months ago.

I was able to refresh the location of my Jeep, remote lock/unlock/start it up on Uconnect., but I get a Failed notication when I try doing the same thing on the Jeep app.

Per the Jeep's app, the location stops updating at the time when I exit and lock the Jeep. I am unable to refresh it.

What could be the issue?

I have some travel coming up and I typically like to check on my Jeep's location once everyday or so, when I leave it at the airport parking for example.

Whenever anything like that happens, I uninstall and reinstall the app. That will usually fix the problem. You won't lose any info, just have to log in, and it will be back to normal, hopefully. ??

I had to update the app and it did not work.

I renewed my Sirius XM Guardian subscription and it worked.

Now we know how these subscriptions work when they are about to expire....
It's annoying but I love my Jeep more, so i took the cost hit for Sirius Guardian for a few months.
