Remote Start not working now.

I pulled the main battery to check the date on it. Reinstalled and now the remote start will not start the jeep. It does beep and lock the doors, but no start. The only other thing I did was use the flashCal to delete the start/stop. Could the start/stop delete cause the remote start not to work? And ideas?

Full battery disconnects puts a few systems in relearn, that may be causing this. You'll likely see items missing from uconnect during that time period.

Ah Ha! I returned the auto start/stop feature and the jeep started remotely. I'll have to dig som more and see if I can delete the Auto SS and still have the remote start function.

Yup, it's the Superchips Flashcal's lame lame way of trying to deal with ESS that killed your remote start..

Known problem and there is no way around it.

Consider buying a SmartStopStart unit, that in essence does the ESS button push for you.
