I too upgraded from a 7" to 8.4". I purchased mine from Allmoparparts.com. I enabled the ORP with my Tazer. I had two small issues. 1. the back up camera lines sometimes disappear. If the Jeep sits for an hour they come back. 2. ORP would not display the GPS coordinates (at the bottom of the display) it would show -- where the GPS coordinates should be, HOWEVER if I got to an elevation of 90' above sea level they would show! I live in FL so rarely do I see 90' elevations.

My dealer also told me there was no way to add the sales code. Funny how they now offer the Sport and Sport S with the 8.4 from the factory! What could possibly be different in the newer year models that the dealer could not add the sales code if we are willing to pay?
Dealer doesn't know what they're talking about.

Thanks, Chupacabra -- that is exactly what I’m seeing, and indeed all 5 gauges work for several hours after I install and remove the bypass. My only concern is that the Security Gateway obviously serves a purpose that I’ll be overriding…

The worst part is: those gauges should have been a part of the default cluster, always visible even if they have to be super small, and not something that only shows up on your radio display if you have the right size of radio. What a lame decision by Jeep.

I get the impression that some of the apps are downloaded or run over the data connection. I believe this because in my garage where the Jeep has no data connection they will never show up. They will after I get out on the road.

The secure gateway is there to keep ne'er do wells from monkeying around with your Jeep's electronics. It also keeps YOU from monkeying around with them. :)

I just leave my SGW bypass installed all the time and the ORP work fine. This is no different than those who run a Tazer all the time, the SGW is bypassed then as well. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Hey folks. We are having the same problems with the Off Road Pages.

2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 3.6l
5000km
Brand new, literary.

Off road pages just won't work. Everytime I touch the app, it just goes back to the home screen.

I have read all the previous posts, and nothing is working.
Just might have to go to the stealership.
Will keep you updated.

Message Jeep Cares with your VIN & radio ID/version and they might be able to push an update or similar. They fixed mine with that information when I had a similar problem.

My ‘24 did the same since new. Do you have a Tazer or JScan? I use both. I ended up disabling the off road pages with JScan and then reenabled. Now my off-road pages work and have been for a couple of months.

Just purchased a 2025 Rubicon X. Having similar problems. Under Dashboard my “off road pages “ icon was frozen so did a factory reset. Off road pages came back and worked but I lost the “ Adventure Guides” and “GPS Trail Logs “ icon. After 2 weeks the “Adventure Guides “ icon returned but I still have no GPS trail logs. Uconnect support has supposedly bumped me up to the highest tech level of support and I get a call every other day that they are still “working on it “. Very nice that they are keeping me posted lol but today I was told “ we can either give you a weekly call or email to let you know we are still working on it what do u prefer ? Lol. Sounds like either they have no idea and don’t ever expect to sort it out OR they are waiting for a software update. I’m hoping it’s the latter but not that optimistic

None of the 2024+ features worked consistently for me. To summarize how reliable the subscription services are, I allowed my navigation subscription to expire because the real time traffic never worked. Once the subscription expired, then real time traffic started to work most of the time. Adventure Guides worked about 5% of the time, so I let that subscription expire too. In any case now I have disconnect the telematics box so none of the connected services are going to work.

Just an update . Uconnect support was able to push through a software fix and everything now works as it should. I have to say customer support was fantastic and called me on a regular basis to update me. Very impressed

UPDATE....

Well pick up my JL last night from the dealership, it seems that the off-road pages were electronically locked from the factory. Not sure why that is. They did a factory reset, install the fix unlocked the pages and everything seems to work just fine. It's been over 24 hours now. Pages still work so that's good news.

In another note, when I went to the dealership, the service rep asked me if the vehicle had, had an oil change yet mind you. This vehicle only has 5700 km on it. She said to me, you know, the oil that they put in at the factory. We don't know what that is. We don't know how long it's been sitting there. So I recommend you have an oil change now. I have never heard anything like that in my life. Why would Jeep manufacture a vehicle with some type of subgrade oil? And then sell the vehicle. It makes no sense, Can someone else comment on this?
