Mine work like yours: fold the mirrors in; fold the mirrors out. That’s it.

They work like a charm; no pulling, no yanking, no wobble, and I don’t need a tutorial to show me how to do it.
Aldo, the first time I tried to fold a mirror in was on my 21 JLUR. I fought that MFer for minutes on end and couldn’t fold it. So I looked it up and discovered I had to tilt it then fold it. Same with my wife’s 20 Sahara.

Of course, it doesn’t say that in the manual ?

I just checked my 2018. It does the same thing as OP's video. That is entirely normal when you apply pressure to the mirror, as it overpowers the spring holding it in place.

Geez. In that case, @entropy is right: the OP has too much time in his hands...

I’ve folded the mirrors dozens of times never noticed them wobble.

This... It's a spring loaded wobble, necessary for the hinge detent to work.

Not about having too much time on my hands.. I wasn't walking around "fidgeting" with things like he stated.. as I stated, I noticed it while washing the jeep.. I went to scrub on the bottom of the mirror to gwt some mud off and noticed it lifted like that.. I had never noticed it before so I wondered if it was normal.. thats the extent of it

We are just pulling your leg...

Having said that, I haven’t felt those on my Jeep wobbling at all.

It take a fair amount of pressure to get them to move. As was mentioned, they are spring loaded to stay in the detent.

Mine is a 21' too.. and both do dit also.. they don't seem to vibrate.. never noticed it before today.. just wanted to see if anyone else's did the same.. thanks
Pretty sure that is normal as it seems similar to my 2019. There actually is sort of a cam in the hinge and to fold in it helps to lift them a bit vs just yanking it around

My 2 cents worth. Both our Jeep mirrors do not have up or down motion. They are tight and fold tightly closed. Click into place.

I washed mine today for the first time in a few months. This thread made me take notice of the mirrors. There is definite up/down play, but it is under spring tension. They were locked in the driving position, no vibrations under way, so I'm going to take it that this is a characteristic of the mirror design.
