Hi

First time Wrangler owners, 3rd time Jeep Owner, still have the others plus a few PT Cruisers, SRT Challenger, Shelby Daytona,Durango, 440+6 Road Runner, Mopar or No Car!

Anyhow wife is a happy camper, another summer toy. Picked it up yesterday, Unloaded the box with dual top, took for a spin, did lunch, gave it a bath and drove around some more and did dinner!

So far, so good, think my wife will be happy, she always wanted one. Not sure what to name it, maybe Pumpkin or Rat Patrol.

Had a JK, traded it in on a VW GTI, so finally back into a jeep. Picked up my new JL today. Stopping by to say HOWDY!!!

Hello All! I have been lurking on this forum since I bought my JLU Rubicon about a month ago. I decided to join as almost all are positive and provide great content.

I have previously owned a CJ-5, a Comanche, two Cherokees, two Power Wagons, and a JKU Rubicon. The JLU Rubicon seems like FCA really listened to the customers feedback.

I live in Knoxville and look forward to further exploring the Great Smoky Mountains with my new toy. I also look forward to getting to know you all!

I'm currently in a 96 XJ but it has 310k miles so I decided it was time to upgrade.
09/15/18 I ordered a 2019 Sport S, Hella Yella, auto trans, LSD, tow package,
convenience group, tan sunrider top, tan cloth seats. Needless to say I'm super
anxious! I have a vin and im trying to patiently wait for the build sheet.

Hey guys, first time Jeep owner here. I'm from the West Chester Pa area.
I usually mess around with classic cars but I thought I'd finally break down and buy a new truck. I have no regrets getting my JLU, I'm hooked!

Ordered it in Sting-gray and 6 spd manual.

Opted out of the led light package. Will just order after market when jw speaker makes some. Had jw speaker light in the old JK and im sold on them.

Had 3 miles on it when i went and picked it up. Currently has 181 miles on it now.

Looking forward to taking it out on the trails and testing it this winter.

Thanks for adding me to the group! I’ve been an admirer of Jeep Wranglers since getting my first one in the mid-60s. I picked up my second one last Friday and parked both in the driveway for a side-by-side comparison.

I am not new to Jeeps, (met hubby while he was driving his YJ in 94, then we bought another one a few years later, traded it for a brand new 97 TJ, then did a couple of restores on a few YJ’s, picked up TJ number 2 and 3 in early 2010,s, and then fell in love with a JKU Rubi in 2013, which was Jeep #8 on our list), but took a break from my beloved Jeeps after experiencing the “death wobble” in that Rubi on I-70...
A few months ago I picked up my 3rd TJ to restore and then got that bug again and bought a JLU a few weeks ago. I am so in love with this vehicle!!
Thanks for adding me to this site and with its wealth of info - I am learning so much about my newest baby.

OK, thanks . . . I will "check in" for I am Old & New as well. . I've already made a few posts and put a mug shot avatar on, so let me just add a few things. Never owned a "real" Jeep, but got the 2016 WK2 75th Trail Rater in (of course) Recon Green sitting out in the Apt. complex lot -- only cause my drift boat (avatar) is hiding in my garage (psst. don't tell on me, ok?).
I served 20+ years in the best darn Navy (go USA), thus Retired - that was in 2004. Started that Journey late (in life) thus retired (for good) late in life - officially on March 1st of '04, and later that month I would turn (ugh) 52. Anybody got the calculator out?
So . . . now you all can "figure" my age, but don't tell my "girl friend" - she'll begin to wonder HOW I "keep up" with her, .
Don't ask . . . won't tell, ha! Huge YouTube fan of all things Fly Fishing or Overlanding / Camping . . . as well as actually "Getting-Out" and going places and exploring & Fly Fishing! Been this way Most of my young adult life right up to now & beyond. Fisheries Biology was my College Major with (of all things) a minor in architecture design. Another of those "don't ask, won't tell" things!
Confession; a DT Big Horn 4X4 w/off road package + was my 1st choice for nearly a year, but recently been Very Interested in the 2019 JL-4 door, even though the initial color choices frankly leave much more to be desired. Hopefully Jeep will wake up and offer some "traditional jeep colors by Spring -- such as close to my Recon Green or a Brown/Tan reminiscent of the "war years"! Which seems to never end . . . !?! Thus ALWAYS a need for a "good Green or tan/brown," right ?

Oh look my WK2 AND drifter in the same photo . . . aren't they amazing ?

So what else is there? Just trying to enjoy whatever LIFE I have left in me - each day, every day . . . too many beautiful places left un-explored, un-fished, un-camped . . . the backroads beckon and I hear their call . . . ! IF I get the JL I will surely post lots of PICS of me doing what I love most, and the Wrangler will be in some of those shots (as proof). Thanks for listening . . . and hope you like my sometimes "quirky, dry humor-ish style" of thinking out-loud !

My first car was a 1994 wrangler with the 4.0, ever since then I’ve owned wranglers. I had that, then a 2001 Sahara, a 2015 Sahara. The old ones are all gone..... I placed my order yesterday for a 2019 JLUR all white, tan leather, dual tops, winter and safety packages, infotainment, and LED. Super excited!
I went back and forth for a few weeks trying to decide on a color...I love the Sting Grey...the firecracker, Mojito but in the end I had to go with white, my 2015 Sahara was white and every time I walked to it or away from it, she made me smile...so that’s me and my wrangler obsession
It’s going to be a long few months but I’m sure it will be well worth the wait. I’ve got great company to help me along.
I’ve been on the forum picking up so much valuable info in helping me reach my build and even when negotiating! I thank you all or y’all depending on where we are from.

Hey guys, I'm Mike and I live in Florida. I just put in an order for my first jeep ever yesterday: 2019 Rubicon in Mojito! I'm so excited. I spent a lot of time looking for a great offroad surf vehicle and I think I made the right choice. Can't wait to start hitting the trails too! The wait is gonna be tedious but well worth it. Happy to be part of the jeep community, cheers!
