Had the TSB performed last week. The dead spot is WORSE now, but the jeep does seem to track straighter on the highway. Hopefully the deadspot works itself out after some use.

They've been getting beat up over on their official Trektop NX thread for this very same issue, probably why they aren't responding here. They're standard response is pretty much always that they stand behind their product and to call them for a fix. Good luck.

This happens to me all the time. I shut off and turn on the radio a few times and then it recovers. Very annoying.

I do not use torque wrench. Hand turn until stops then slightest turn using socket wrench. Thats it.

Interesting. I too thought the fob would prevent this. The fob once fell out of my pocket and I didnt realize, got out and tried pressing the lock button on the handle and it would not lock. Thank god for that I guess. I was also not home.
