Interior USB port

Hello forum, dunno why, just noticed today, after Jeep has been shut down for a few hours , these lights are still illuminated. Perhaps they always were, never noticed. Should they stay on all the time? Jeep is parked in garage, garage light on.

Obsessing over this now. So, Jeep hasn't been shut down for a few hours, maybe an hour. I went back to garage to look, those lights are off. Like I said in original post, never noticed before. Those lights stay on for hour? Then auto shut off?

I haven't paid attention to the lights, but it's well known that the USB ports stay active for about an hour.

What you are seeing is normal behavior for a JL or JT.

USB's all stay powered up for approximately 1 hr. after ignition off....

If you open door, rear hatch, etc., on a JL/JT with ignition off, the USB's will power up and stay on for approximately 1 hr ..

With ignition off, on a JL/JT with proximity... if you touch a door handle and activate proximity, the USB's will power up and stay on for approximately 1 hr ..

USB lighting you mention, is present when USB's are powered up.
