Interior paint coming off

Anyone else had this happen? This is the power lock switch on the driver's side front door...I think that's from my knee rubbing it... I've had my JLUR for a little over a month

I would think that would be covered. Certainly a defect.

Edit, missed the part about your knee rubbing. It shouldn't peel like that and the vinyl shouldn't look like that just fron skin contact.

Could it be lotion, suntan lotion, or something reacting to the paint? I bring this up because I had a Brand Name rain jacket that was lined with a waterproof membrane. The area at the neck and inside the hood actually delaminated and peeled away from the jacket. I sent it in under the lifetime warranty for replacement. The customer service rep said the peeling was caused by lotion, suntan lotion or hair conditioner. Just a thought?
