Hi Relbus, that is correct-these systems will be compatible with both the 2.0L and 3.6L models. We are currently working on an official sound clip for the 2.0 and will be sure to post it up in the forums once it is ready.

Excited to hear what the 2.0 sounds like.

Hoping for a nice note and no drone.

Sorry for the dumb question but what are the benefits of such an exhaust ? Is it just about sound ?

Great questions! The main benefits of an axleback system would be the improved sound and aesthetics. You will not notice a significant change in power with an axleback, so if you were looking for performance gains, we would recommend waiting for our full catback systems!

I think pretty much all modern vehicles no longer use "chips" They just tune the ECM using a device that flashes it like an autocal, etc.

Correct. There is ZERO reason to use a gimmicky “chip” with all the viable options these days. It always takes some time for the aftermarket to crack the ECM, but it will happen. HPTuners wasn’t available for my WK1 when we got it, but was a while later. Went with a Diablo CMR tune and haven’t looked back.

That one is the MF-series catback, but it has very similar sound to the axlebacks. Let us know if you have any questions!
