Instrument Panel Cluster Replacement

My dash cluster needs to be replaced. I want to this myself. I didn't need anything fancy, so I want the Instrument Panel Cluster - Mopar (68377785AF). It's been unavailable for purchase, and the last time I checked it seems to be a long wait from dealerships.

Any chance someone has one?

I saw one on a ripoff site, but can't find one elsewhere.

I guess I could try scrap yards, but that seems like a hassle, especially if it's messed up.

I think salvage yard is a great idea and will save you money. Most are totalled for exterior damage. eBay would be a good place to look also.

What’s wrong with the cluster? There is a thread on the Gladiator forum about screen repair for a pretty reasonable price.

What’s wrong with the cluster?

It's completely dead. No gauges. No screen. I use Google maps for my speedometer . I read threads here of others having the same issue.

Sorry guys we do not sell these online. They come preprogrammed to VIN and mileage and need to be ordered from your local dealership.

Gregj makes a good point, Last I remember UR is the vendor who mopar uses for repairs and exchanges for such parts.

Unfortunately, I am going through this with some of you. Just got my repaired cluster back from United Radio and that still did not fix the issue. They said that they replaced the voltage IC.

Anyone have ideas of what else could cause a complete cluster failure? If anyone ordered a new one, who do you go to for updating the mileage?

RADIO FAILURE WITH A19.
Completed my A19 Clutch Recall upgrade five weeks ago and I LOVE IT! It works so well I'd gladly sacrifice my radio for the enhanced performance and functionality (but wish I didn't have too).

. . .but I get ahead of myself. My radio did not survive the upgrade. No rear camera (got mirrors), no hill assist (never used), no clock (I miss), etc. It runs better now and with the iPod noise cancellation I don't miss the speaker and road noise competition.

So the radio is backordered with no replacement in sight. I understand my dealer has done a second upgrade and that A19 upgrade costs the JL owner their radio too. I looked at the procedure to do the upgrade and it is very specific how the voltage must be maintained when doing the re-programming. Sometimes I believe mechanics try to avoid disconnecting both batteries when working on electrical issues. . . .

The dealership tried to tell me the radio had nothing to do with the clutch upgrade - so I showed them MOPAR's instruction to the contrary. 'They misspoke.'

1. Is there anyone else missing a functioning radio upon an A19 recall completion?
2. Anyone have any idea where I can get an update on the replacement radio? My dealer doesn't have a clue.
