Mine looks exactly like this. They change Auxiliary Battery which was dead, didn't help. They said cluster has a short... I am 7 days past 3yrs warranty... Tech said they are gonna try to honor under 3yrs... We shall see.. 2020 JL 6Cyc

This literally just happened to me 4 minutes ago. 2022 high altitude manual. 20k on it.

Dealer had to swap mine out under warranty. Fried. Coincidentally the auxiliary battery went at same time.

I've had this happen to me twice, but it has always come back on the following drive. Likewise, there have been a couple instances where the computer fails to communicate with the EVIC and gives me the "Press Clutch" screen on my automatic. Again, it's fine on the following drive.

I also have another issue which I created a thread about where my EVIC shows corner items I either didn't select or shows none at all. Going through the menus and reselecting them fixes it, but the menus themselves are also screwed up.

Well, I just had to replace my batteries, so now I gotta wonder how much of this is a result of that. Clearly these problems can be indications of bad batteries, but mine weren't that old to begin with so I didn't make that connection. Now that I've got new ones, I'll have to see if the cluster bugs are still present.

That's crazy. Mine vehicle is less than 6 months old, so a battery issue would not be cool

Well, the glitch is still there, so it's definitely not related to the battery.

My cluster hasn't worked
Yesterday, I got in my Jeep to pick up some food and the instrument cluster did not come on like it normally does when you open the door. I proceeded to start the vehicle and still nothing - all black. The speedo and tach were functioning normally as were functions such as cruise control, albeit, I couldn't see what speed it was set to. I flipped through the owner's manual and looked over the diagram on the lid of the fuse box, but couldn't figure out which fuse belonged to the cluster. Anyways, without disconnecting the battery or removing any of the fuses, I simply just tried starting the vehicle again about 30 minutes later and the cluster appeared to be operating normally.

Has anyone else experienced intermittent failure of the instrument cluster? I just had my Jeep in two separate times for an oil change and then a CEL (P0456), so I'd really prefer not to take in it for a 3rd time in two weeks, but if this becomes a "thing", I guess I'll have to since without that cluster, you lose visibility of fuel levels and other pertinent vehicle information.
