Info question about ECM

Hello, I just took my JLUD for it’s 10k service and they said they flashed and update to the ECM. Does anyone know what this update addresses? Thanks!!

There is a recall issued to reprogram the PCR in California only. It must have something to do with emissions. There was no information attached.

Uh- Oh, Ca only, emissions related. Don’t be surprised if it gets less mpg with less power ?

So.... After a few days of driving around with the same habits pre-update, i can report that there has been an increase of mpgs. definitely gives better mpgs in 7 gear.
