No.

E.g., my preferred mode is Cruise, Level 6. Once that's selected, it will reappear on the display every time the vehicle is started.

Does the Hike It reset after ignition off?

No, it stays where it is set at until the user changes it. It is super easy to use and change between modes even on the fly. No matter what mode you are in, if driving and you push the mode button once it defaults to the Hi Performance mode. Which is handy if you need the extra boost like to make a pass on the road.

I use that mode while towing the camper as most of my time is spent in with the cruise on. I also have it at level 6.
