In Service date

I bought my Jeep used, does anyone know of a way to find the in-service date, without using the dealer, as my dealer would probably charge me a diagnostic fee to give me it...?
Vehicle was built in Oct 20, but was only first titled in Apr 21, so I'm looking to see if it was a demonstrator, or if it was on the lot for a while ?

Yeah, I'm guessing that it would have been a dealer demo. It's incredibly unlikely to have sat unsold for six months during COVID.

Yeah it's a mystery to me.
I was hoping maybe there was someone on here that worked for a dealer, that could look it up for me....
I thought there was somewhere you could look online and get a service history, but I can no longer find it.
I got the first title date from Carfax, but it doesn't tell me anything about the vehicle before then....oh well

sort of unrelated, but just be aware that in some states the factory warranty begins when the dealer starts using the car as a demo, so you may not have as much warranty period as expected. I once had a Suburban that the engine died. I owned it less than 5 years and was the only owner but because it was a demo (in Arizona) it was over the 5 year mark and wasn’t covered.

Conditions were highly variable around the country then. Mine had a build date of 11 NOV 2019, Yet I didn't take possession until 22 MAY 2020. Sat on the lot the whole time, and I was able to beat 'em up for a pretty good deal. Had 4 miles on the odometer when I test drove it.

Thanks for the reply. That is exactly the reason I am trying to find it's history, before the vehicle was first titled.
I want to buy a Mopar extended warranty before the factory runs out, as it is much cheaper.
I guess to be on the safe side I'll do it before Oct this year.
Still curious about the time between build and title tho....?

I guess it seems like corporate probably knows the date since they knew I was “out of warranty”

Another possible way to find this info is a quick call or inquiry to mopar extended warranty, lol ? just pretend you are considering buying one and you want a quote, they should have the info for you as the inservice date is normally the start day of your manufacture warranty 3 yrs etc etc DON’T buy from mopar shop on the forum for it if interested in one
