I have only owned a 2024 2 door X for about seven weeks and although I think it has advantages, I would never buy it as a primary mode of transportation. I am a wannabe car guy and have owned some awesome vehicles, but if I had to balance my checkbook everyday, no way would I buy a Wrangler, which is the reason I no longer need to balance a checkbook. In my younger years, I bought what I could afford and knew it would cause few problems, Honda Accord comes to mind. Anyone that buys a Wrangler as a primary is nuts, anyone who needs a loan to buy a Wrangler is financially irresponsible. Speaking of which, anyone that finances a vehicle for more than four years is crazy. Regardless, a Wrangler is an expensive toy, nothing more. I grew up very poor, but my mother, whom did not graduate high school and worked in a factoy, told me to learn about money. I started with “Investing for Dummies”, now I can buy just about anything I want. If you do not understand capital gains, 10-31’’s and the DJIA, buy a car or F150, not a Wrangler. Money Is power…..power is money, think of tomorrow, not today. Words from an old guy sipping Yamasaki 18.

So you've owned a Jeep for all of 7 weeks and you're hell bent on the belief that no one shoudl buy a Jeep, unless of course they can own one as a toy. The same could be said of pretty much every two seat sports car.

So what is it exactly that makes you believe that Jeeps should only be used as toys?

Life is about smiles per gallon. You might want a honda CRV instead. Impractical 4 door convertibles are for brave americans who love open air freedom.

Well, being a ladies man such as yourself, you should always offer to purchase something classy for your intended companion, perhaps a fish sandwich and of course a bottle of Courvoisier. A man who can afford a Wrangler without financing is clearly someone who can afford to own a JL as a primary vehicle but wise enough to not do so. Peace. You said it all at "wannabe"

Enjoy your Accord, Camry, or whatever.

My wife loves the Wrangler as her DD + toy. Love the S2k in the pics above too! I've regretted selling mine ever since the minute I watched it drive away on a trailer 😢
