I think it would behoove you to post a video of the Jeep acting up. A quick 30 second long video would greatly help some the more experienced people here diagnose.I have a manual 2018 JLU Sport. It's all stock minus the 4" lift and 35s. When I hit the clutch to down shift or go into neutral 9 times out of 10 my rpms will almost bottom out then just about 1000 and then settle down. When I start it it will idle about 17000 ish. It will settle down if I give it time or I can pop the throttle and immediately drop to the normal 700. 1st to 2nd is ok. 2-3 can be a little weak(in my opinion). 3-4 is really weak and when I'm in 5th it will actually slow down even though I can have it floored. I've been told that it might have to do with the clutch recall. Before I beg and borrow to get a centerforce can anyone tell me if it's the clutch or not? I'm poor as hell and I can't spend $1500 just for hopes. This is my daily driver and I dont have anything else.
I also saw the post speaking on buying a $2200 clutch kit. IMHO, I would spend $1800 of that and have it regeared by a shop and wait for the Clutch recall to hit you and get a free replacement (if needed). I think you'll be in a much better position this way.
