Having multiple cars/Jeeps to maintain, so I tried to find the cheapest yet high quality parts.
Made in USA and it's pretty solid. $3.19 each on RockAuto. Some source say it's the OEM for Mopar 349 but I'm not so sure about it. The O-ring of the filter cartridge is different color (white).

None... but it pays well.
Does it match the OEM spec measurments I posted on another thread? I chose Mobil 1 as my go to since 2000. After 5 oil changes with my Pentastar v2.0 not one had noticeable filter element twist. I tested Fram Extended Guard and it was hidiously twisted. OEM did not twist either, but I only noticed the one I removed bringing my Jeep home and the other that came with a new style oem oil cooler and newer cap. Twist is one concern and the other is hidden within the cap from the additional stress with its function when using a taller filter.

Amazon says the last two Mopar oil filters I got on sale for $4.49 each. I just wait for a sale on Amazon which usually @Rhinebeck01 will post and I buy a couple at a time. I am curious what your source is for it being OEM.

Yeah . . . in my considerable number of years, I can tell everyone that "cheapest" and "high-quality" don't go together. You get what you pay for.

G.
In my less considerable number of years, one easy way is finding the OEM brand vs genuine "mopar"/"Mercedes-Benz"/"BMW". The saving is substantial, as long as you know how to find it.

My Mercedes E class oil filer, MB branded is $25 each. It has the "Hengst" marking on it, while the filter from Hengst is $7. Similar to the drain plug (replace each time), genuine MB is $17, and OE packaging is $7.
