How Long To Get a VON?

Which model did you order.

I have ordered a firecracker red JL Rubicon, matching top and fenders, cloth seats, cold weather option, 8 speed automatic, infotainment system, trailer towing, hardtop liner and LED lighting group. I struggled between ocean blue, granite crystal and the firecracker red. I am happy with my final choice.

Ordered 4/13 has Von and Vin within 2 days. Went to D1 a few days ago with an est ship date of 5/1. My understanding is that is the actual build date.

Order my 2 door JL sport 4/23 got the VON and contacted the dealer today and he said no VIN has been issued and may be a while. The jeep is a 2 door, hard top, manual, anti slip in a sport. How long should it take to get a VIN?

I was able to get the jeep chat to provide me a vin for an order placed on April 23. I was very polite when asking, and was surprised when they helped me out. Others have had difficulty getting the Chat support agents to help.

Ordered my JLU Sahara yesterday and got my VON right after my deposit, and I just got my VIN, so a little over 24 hrs for everything. Not bad!!!

Thanks to everyone here for the great information. I ordered/deposited on a Friday, received my POC and VON on Tuesday, used Jeep Chat the next day and was able to get my VIN. I now have my VIN !!!

I placed an order 3/8 and am still waiting for the POC/VON as of 3/20. My salesman left the steel bumper group off and I didn’t catch it until I got home. The salesman is telling me that they won’t have a VON until FCA approves the edit. Does this sound legitimate, or is my dealership dragging their feet?
